American Bio-Tech is a family business founded by Robert Boone who is dedicated to providing Connecticut with unsurpassed quality and efficiency in humane wildlife removal.

Mr. Boone's beliefs and concerns regarding wildlife control have developed over the years resulting in an extensive background in wildlife conservation and management. His past experience as a museum director and curator in the environmental field enables Mr. Boone to continue to emphasize public awareness through lectures and nature programs.

The warranty for exclusion work varies depending on the animal.
Most exclusion work, including any bat related work, is backed by a 10 year warranty.
Squirrel related work is covered for 2 years. American Bio-Tech has 39 years of references and testimonials for our service and workmanship. We will be happy to provide them on request.

American Bio-Tech is licensed as a Nuisance Wildlife Control Operator in the State of Connecticut by the DEP.  Our company is fully insured and a certificate of proof of insurance and workman’s compensation will be provided upon request.

Can you handle it yourself?

It depends. Some things may easily be handled by a property owner but many problems with wild animals not only should be handled by a professional — it is against the law for an unlicensed person to have contact with a wild animal. When in doubt, give us a call. We'll be happy to let you know if your situation is a “do-it-yourself” one.

Hazards

Wild animals can be dangerous and carry disease. Never touch any wild animal if it can be avoided. It is illegal in the State of Connecticut for anyone other than a state appointed rehabilitator to care for wildlife. If in doubt, call us at 860.355.1231 for more information.

Most animals are released once caught

We pride ourselves as being a humane (catch and release) company. Animals that are removed from your home are brought to DEP designated state forests where the animals are released into a normal habitat to live out their circle of life. We are saddened to say, that some animals are required to be euthanized, for our health and their species.
